To honor the dedication of long time Alpine breeder Steven Schack, the members of Alpines International created an award in his name at the 1999 AIC annual meeting honoring the Premier Alpine Youth Exhibitor at the annual ADGA National Show. The Alpine Youth Exhibitor is derived from their performances in; showmanship, judging and management competitions during the ADGA Youth Program and their individual Alpine class placings. The winner receives an embroidered jacket and their name is engraved on the Memorial plaque.
